Town Crier to hold debate

Event will give readers the opportunity to meet candidates in St. Paul's byelection

Looking for the perfect forum to hear what the candidates of St. Paul’s Sept. 17 byelection have to say?

The Town Crier is coordinating an all-candidates meeting set for Sept. 10 in Sunderland Hall at the First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto.

Sue-Ann Levy of the Progressive Conservatives, Eric Hoskins of the Liberals, Julian Heller of the New Democratic Party, Chris Chopik of the Green Party and other candidates will be given the opportunity to present and debate topics for the first hour, and then will take questions from the floor.

The debate is to run from 7 to 9 p.m. with Town Crier editor-in-chief Eric McMillan as moderator.

First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto is located at 175 St. Clair Ave. West, near the southwest corner of Avenue Rd. and St. Clair.
