TTC purse snatcher sought
Information wanted in July theft
Police are looking for help in identifying a man who stole a woman’s purse on an eastbound TTC bus at the East York Town Centre in late July.
The alleged thief pressed the victim, who had just boarded the bus, against the wall behind the driver’s seat and proceeded to remove her purse from her bag and conceal it under a jacket slung over his arm.
Police say that the man got off the bus at the next stop and headed onto Don Mills Road.
