Two women dead after car collides with TTC bus

Third passenger in serious condition

Two women have died and another is in serious condition after a car collided with a TTC bus near Jane and Dundas on Friday.

The impact caused the Hyundai Elantra to spin around and strike another car, which had been stopped directly behind the car, waiting to turn.

The rear passenger in the Hyundai, an 89-year-old woman, died from her injuries. She was not wearing a seatbelt. The front seat passenger, a 90-year-old woman, also died.

The driver sustained life-threatening injuries.
