Willowdale backs David Zimmer
[attach]4904[/attach]In spite of a strong challenge it looks like Liberal David Zimmer will hold on to his Willowdale seat.
As of 10:11 Zimmer had collected 51.0 percent of the ballots cast while Progressive Conservative Vince Agovino is behind with 32.8 percent. The NDP’s Alexander Brown is running a distant third with 13.3 percent.
While Zimmer has represented Willowdale at Queen’s Park since 2003 his riding flipped to the federal Conservatives during May’s election, ousting Liberal Martha Hall Findlay in favour of Chungsen Leung.
