Stolen wreath returned to owner, but thief still not identified
A Christmas wreath taken from the door of a Rosedale home has been returned to its owner — but the thief who took it remains unidentified.
The story made headlines earlier this month after Sabrina Magyar posted home security footage to her Facebook account, showing a woman taking her wreath.
A window washer reportedly found the wreath on Monday in a bag in the back of his truck while he was working near Inglewood Drive and Mt. Pleasant Road. The man initially gave the wreath to a friend before seeing the news story about the stolen wreath.
The man contacted media, who returned the wreath to Magyar, who called the return “my little Christmas miracle.”
The woman who took the wreath off the door has yet to be identified or located.
