Night out in midtown for Barley’s Angels

Nearly 100 members of a Toronto gang called the Angels took over the Granite Brewery at Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East recently.

No, not those Angels.

Barley’s Angels describe themselves as “Toronto women who love craft beer, great conversation, and who take any excuse to spend a few hours at the pub with friends new and old.”

In their 11th year now, they meet at a different bar or brewery every month.

At each event, tables are allocated for a few vendors, selling products such as accessories and baked goods and providing fun services such as tarot card reading.
