Easter Seals superheroes rappel down Centre

Easter Seals fulfilled the wishes of children with physical disabilities with their annual rappel down the RioCan Yonge Eglinton Centre, Sept. 22.

Volunteers, dressed as superheroes, and fundraisers who raised at least $1,500, were given the opportunity to do the Spider-Man down all 32 storeys of 2300 Yonge St. for the Easter Seals Drop Zone.

Celebrity guests included Breakfast Television’s Frank Ferragine, CTV Toronto’s Natalie Johnson, CFNY-FM personality Josie Dye and Natasha Ramsahai of CityNews.

Easter Seals, known for its work providing support for children with physical disabilities, has raised over $10 million Canada-wide. That money has assisted in purchasing mobility equipment, communication devices and fully accessible summer camp opportunities for children.
