Later in the day, police investigators confirmed the two are now deceased.

Some media were reporting as early as Saturday the man and woman were declared dead after the emergency run to the trauma centre.

No further details have been released. Police are investigating the incident but have so far declined to call it a homicide.

The apartment building known as Davisville Village Apartment is on the south side of Davisville Avenue, about halfway between Yonge Street and Mt. Pleasant Road.
