Images of half-million-dollar jewellery heist released
Police have released security camera images of men allegedly stealing property worth $500,000 from a jewellery store near Bay Street and Bloor Street West last month.
Three men broke into the store through the front door at 4:48 a.m. on Nov. 19, police say. Several display cases were smashed and the men escaped with the property.
The images were released on Dec. 18, showing low-resolution pictures of several men apparently in the act of robbing the store, as police requested public assistance identifying the men.
One of the men is described as white, five-foot-10, with a large large build, and wearing a red and black winter jacket with hood, black hooded sweater, light-blue jeans, and white Nike sneakers.
Another is white, five-foot-seven or five-foot-eight, with a small build, and wearing a camouflage jacket, a black hoodie sweater, a black-and-white baseball hat with a white logo, a black-and-white face mask, and black Adidas sneakers with white soles.
The third male is described as white, five-foot-10 to 6 feet, with a large build, and wearing a leather jacket, a blue-and-green plaid shirt, a black hat, a black balaclava, and construction boots.
