Man, 37, charged in East York murder
A 37-year-old man has been arrested for murder on Jan. 17, nearly three months after an older man was stabbed to death in East York.
On Oct. 28 police arrived at a second-floor apartment near Wakunda Place and O’Connor Drive to discover a man, 60, suffering significant trauma. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Henryk Dabrowski, 60, of Toronto.
A post mortem found the cause of death was stab wounds to the torso.
Gary Seymour Scott, 37, of Toronto, faces a charge of second-degree murder.
He is to appear in court on Jan. 18.
