Parking officer injured in Moore Park

Police in 53 Division are looking for a suspect after a parking enforcement officer was injured while tagging cars on Moore Avenue near Mt. Pleasant Road on Saturday morning.

A man approached the officer at 9:25 a.m. and told her to leave, telling her her presence is not liked in the neighbourhood.

Police say the man then drove away, steering his vehicle close to the officer, hitting her with the side view mirror.

The man was last seen driving south on Cliffton Road in a vehicle described as a black four-door Acura MDX or RDX with partial licence plate BAXS. A 10–12-year-old child was said to be in the passenger seat.

The man is described as white and 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10 and wearing a blue sweatshirt and jogging pants.
