Two men, one identified by name, are being sought by police after the incident near Danforth and Glebemount avenues on Feb. 12 at about 1:30 p.m.

The incident began when a vehicle driven by a man, 36, was involved in a collision with another vehicle containing two men, police say.

When the 36-year-old man began taking photos of the accident scene, the two other men allegedly assaulted him.

One of the two men was armed with a knife and then assaulted a bystander who tried to intervene during the assault, according to police.

The two men fled the scene in a black 2018 Land Rover, which had sustained significant damage to its front end.

Police are looking for a man they have identified in a Feb. 15 press release as Mohamed Ashaqzai, 20, of Toronto. He is wanted for robbery, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, two counts of failing to comply with recognizance, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, and two counts of failure to comply with probation.

The other man being sought has yet to be identified but is described as being black with a medium complexion and standing 5-foot-7. He has a husky build and short curly hair and he wears a black jacket.
