THINGS TO DO

Coldest Day of the Year Ride on Feb. 3

Cycle Toronto holds its annual Coldest Day of the Year Ride on Feb. 3.

The event starts at 11:30 a.m. at Alexander the Great Parkette, at Danforth and Logan avenues, kicking things off with a few words. Riders head out at noon for a short, family-friendly ride of about 7 kilometres along some of the city’s best cycling infrastructure, ending at Betty’s on King Street to warm up and mingle.

The ride will be about an hour, followed by a social where you can chat with fellow riders and warm up with a drink.

Both the start and end points are TTC accessible

Don’t have a bike? No problem — you can use Bike Share. You’ll be able to take out a Bike Share bicycle for up to two hours with no additional fees.
