THINGS TO DO

Saturdays: Farmers’ market in Withrow Park

Located in the park at the east end of Toronto, the Withrow Park Farmers’ Market is celebrating 12 years of uniting the community through live music, arts and crafts activities for kids, and of course, great local food.

A project of the Centre for Local Food Initiatives, it offers certified organic, non-GMO, and sustainably produced products and goods sold at the market.

Whether it be the fresh fruits and veggies, enthusiastic volunteers, the good tasting coffee, the laidback atmosphere, or the opportunity to connect directly with farmers and food entrepreneurs, you can see for yourself why Withrow Park Farmers’ Market has been met with success summer after summer.

The market runs from June 2 to Oct. 13, every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The park is at 725 Logan Ave., a block south of Danforth Avenue.
