Sept. 29: Garden scavenger hunt part of Culture Days

Garden@Kimbourne hosts a scavenger hunt/tour and craft activity for all ages at its Un-Secreting the Garden event on Sept. 29 as part of Culture Days 2018.

Fairies hidden throughout the garden will lead guests on a tour to discover what plants and critters can be found in our urban oasis.

Afterwards, you can join the Garden@Kimbourne volunteers in the shade to make your own fairy friends to take home with you, using found objects and materials from the garden.

Drop in to the even from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 200 Wolverleigh Blvd. (east lawn). The tour takes 20-30 minutes and the fairy-making (about the same, though both are at your own pace.

Garden@Kimbourne is a permaculture project using earth-friendly, regenerative techniques to grow food and community in Toronto’s East End.
