The way Cris Jucan saw it, he could use his cellphone to find a restaurant, plan dinner with his friends and order a taxi to bring him there, so why not use it as a menu too? Working from an office at Yonge Street and Davisville Avenue, the enterprising programmer and his business partner, midtown resident Brenda Crainic, developed an app they have called “maegan” to replace a restaurant’s paper-and-plastic menu with a user’s cellphone.
