Seventy-six years at the corner of Mt. Pleasant and Keewatin

Pictures from 1941 show a very different North Toronto, at least at Mt. Pleasant Road and Keewatin Avenue.
Old photos from Toronto’s City Archives show the front and back of the wooden house at 239 Keewatin Ave., presumably with the family posing outside.
Today, at the site seen below, no building sports the 239 Keewatin address. Newer houses line the intersection, with the corner house listed as being on Mt. Pleasant.
