March 5: Training for Adopt-a-Park-Tree program at Locke Library

To start an Adopt-a-Park-Tree program in your local park, you can gain skills, support and training in urban forestry and community engagement and learn how you can apply to become a Young Urban Forest Leader.

The Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests (LEAF”) is putting on a free information session to community groups and female/non-binary youth under the age of 30 on March 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Locke Library, 3083 Yonge St.

This event is supported by Park People, City of Toronto, and Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation.
