Feb. 15: Join consultation on Pape-Danforth development

The city is holding a virtual community consultation meeting to hear about the plans and get local feedback for a development at Pape and Danforth avenues.

City Planning has received an application for a zoning bylaw amendment for 654–668 Danforth Avenue and 717–723 Pape Avenue. The proposal is for a 49-storey tower including a five-storey commercial podium.

Currently on the proposed site is the three-storey building featuring A&W on the corner, a four-storey office building wrapped around on both Pape and Danforth, and several smaller businesses. It’s next to Pape Station on the Bloor-Danforth subway line, which is also planned as an interchange on the future Ontario Line.

The proposal includes 496 residential units, 29,756 square metres (320,291 square feet) of residential gross floor area, and 4,743 square metres (51,053 square feet) of non-residential gross floor area.
