June 3: Garden tour in Cabbagetown

The Cabbagetown Preservation Association presents the Hidden Gardens & Private Spaces Tour 2018 on June 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The attraction for many is not only the unique and charming gardens found here but also the historic streets, alluring laneways, and Victorian architecture, from modest to grand. Toronto Master Gardeners are on site to answer questions and give advice about gardens often in small spaces, with towering shade trees and frequent visits from urban wildlife.

The Cabbagetown Preservation Association information booth will be located at 89 Winchester St. on the day of the tour to provide information and to sell tour tickets and other CPA merchandise. The first 150 people to visit the booth will be offered a pansy plant, courtesy of Blooming Flower Bar.

The ticket is a booklet that provides you with the address and a description of the gardens as well as information on how to access them. It includes a map and also contains special offers from local businesses: Eat! Shop!

Each ticket is $20. You can buy it in person at many Cabbagetown retailers.

You can also buy your tickets online. You will be issued a receipt/voucher you can print and redeem for a ticket.
