March 24: Hop over to Cabbagetown for bunny fun

The free, annual Cabbagetown Bunny Hop takes place on March 24, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the northeast corner of Carlton and Parliament streets.

Hosted by the Cabbagetown BIA, the bunny Hop brings the Easter Bunny to the street for “bunny selfies,” along with a live band to help kick off spring.

Attendees will enjoy free holiday-themed refreshments provided by local businesses. Children will be able to partake in crafts organized by Buds and Blossoms. The Children’s Book Bank Canada will also be at the event, handing out complimentary books.

“Organizing The Cabbagetown Bunny Hop is one of my favourite parts of my job,” says Cabbagetown BIA executive director Stephen-Thomas Maciejowski. “Seeing people from the area and across the city of Toronto come together for this event and the joy it brings them —well, it is an incredible feeling.”
