May 5: How to maintain your bicycle

The Toronto Public Library, Northern District branch, is having a program for adults and teens in which Cycle Toronto will show the basics of how to maintain your bicycle in a hands-on workshop.

Topics include safety checks, pumping your tires, tightening your brakes, lubing your chain, and ensuring your bike is the right fit for you.

It’s free, taking place May 5 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the library’s Room 224 at 40 Orchard View Blvd.
