Nov. 1: How to make a will at East York library

November is Make a Will Month. You can learn about the importance of having a will and powers of attorney for you and your family at S. Walter Stewart Library, 170 Memorial Park Ave., on Nov. 1.

Lawyers who practice trusts and estate law will speak about the elements of a will, what happens if you don’t have one, what are the powers of attorney, why they are important and special considerations to keep in mind when preparing your estate and care plans.

The seminar is presented by the Ontario Bar Association’s Speakers Bureau.

The 90-minute program runs from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
