Church holding anti-racism panel discussion on Zoom
Fairlawn Avenue United Church is hosting an online panel discussion “Do Black Lives Matter?” on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The anti-racism panel discussion will explore the issues, appropriate responses, and how to become allies for Black Lives Matter at the Zoom meeting.
Guest panelists are Aina-Nia Ayo’dele Grant, the City of Toronto’s director of community resources; Rev. Michael Blair, the United Church of Canada’s new general secretary; and Adele Halliday, the United Church of Canada’s new anti-racism and equity officer
