Supported by the City of Toronto, Secondhand Sunday encourages residents of single-family homes to leave unwanted reusable items on their front property for neighbours to take for free.
It takes place on Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Any resident can participate.
Leave items on your front property that are in good condition for reuse with a “free” sign beside the items you are giving away.
Be sure to follow the public health recommendations for combatting coronavirus during Secondhand Sunday, such as staying home if sick, physical distancing, hand washing and disinfecting items.
Don’t forget to bring in all items at the end of the event. No additional collection trucks are planned.
Visit the website for the latest information, future event dates, resources and support.
