March 11: St. Patrick’s Day parade

Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Day parade is in its 31st consecutive year celebrating Irish cultural heritage. It is recognized as the largest Irish-themed event in Toronto, which has grown to include many diverse community and non-profit groups.

The parade runs on Mar. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It begins at the corner of St. George Street and Bloor Street West and heads east on Bloor, before turning south on Yonge Street, then west on Queen, finishing at the parade reviewing stand at Nathan Phillips Square.

There is a physical disability viewing area north of Bloor by St. George, right where the parade begins.
