Art club showing in Forest Hill

Art enthusiasts will have a chance to see what members of the Forest Hill Art Club have been working on during the group’s annual art show and sale, scheduled for April 24-26 at its studio on Eglinton Avenue West at Spadina Road.

According to professional artist Mel Delija, about 21 club members will be taking part, showcasing their work in diverse media, such as drawing, acrilycs, oils and watercolours. Art will include landscapes, figures and abstract compositions.

“You’re going to get a pretty good variety of media and subject matter,” Delija said.

The show will be open 6–9 p.m. on Friday, April 24, and 1–5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Founded in 1948, the Forest Hill Art Club meets twice per week at its 666 Eglinton Ave. West studio. New members are being accepted.
