Arrests made in shooting

[attach]2959[/attach]Police have made two arrests in [url=https://streeter.ca/new-details-released-in-shooting.html]the murder of 16 year old Tyrone Bracken[/url].

Constable Tony Vella said a 16 year old male and a 17 year old male have been apprehended and both are being charged with one count of first-degree murder.

Vella said the 16 year old was arrested this morning (Nov. 22) and made a court appearance shortly thereafter. The 17 year old was arrested this afternoon and will appear in court Nov. 23.

Due to their age, neither suspect can be publicly identified.

Police say that as of 7 p.m., Nov. 22 they are also looking for a third suspect in connection with the shooting.

Bracken was shot and killed in the stairwell of 135 Neptune Dr., a building in a Toronto Community Housing complex in Lawrence Heights on Nov. 17.
