Cops hope image will lead to suspect’s arrest
[attach]7624[/attach]Police in 53 Division have released an image of a man caught on camera using the credit card of an elderly woman he had allegedly just robbed.
In a news release, police said the suspect stole the purse of an 80-year-old woman as she was walking near Eglinton Avenue West and Avenue Road at about 7:25 p.m. on Jan. 26.
Surveillance footage at a nearby gas station taken shortly afterward showed a man allegedly using one of the victim’s credit cards.
Police released a still image taken from surveillance footage on March 12.
