Cops hunt teen suspects in Davisville cab robbery

Police are looking for four young males, believed to be between 14 and 17 years old, in the May 9 assault and robbery of a cab driver outside of Davisville subway station.

The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. when the taxi stopped on Chaplin Crescent in front of the station. Police say four males got into the cab, assaulted the driver and stole cash.

The first suspect is described as white and was wearing a blue LA Dodgers baseball hat, a dark t-shirt with white horizontal stripes on the front, and dark pants. The second is brown, and was wearing an Oakland Raiders baseball hat and a blue long-sleeved shirt. The third suspect is white and was wearing a burgundy Philadelphia Phillies baseball hat and burgundy t-shirt. The fourth suspect is white, has dark hair and was wearing a baseball hat.

Police believe several bystanders may have taken photographs or video of the robbery, and are asking them to contact police.
