Cops on looking for man who robbed cabbie at kniefpoint

[attach]2242[/attach]Police have released surveillance images of a man who reportedly held a cab driver at knifepoint during an attempted robbery near Runnymede Road and St. Clair Avenue West on Aug. 11.

Police say the man they’re looking for hailed a cab in the area, and once inside, held a knife it to the cab driver’s throat and made a demand for money. The man then reportedly directed the driver out of the cab and ordered the driver into the trunk, and locked him in before taking off.

The suspect is described as black with a dark complexion, 30-35 years old, 6-feet tall, 185-200 pounds, with a full beard, mustache with tattoos on both arms.
