Some of Toronto’s, and Canada’s, crime writers descended on the Wallace Gastropub on June 2, to celebrate and share their craft.
Novelists Giles Blunt, Rob Brunet, Dietrich Kalteis, Tanis Mallow, Rosemary McCracken, John McFetridge, Peter McGarvey, June Lorraine Roberts and Dee Willson pored over their words under the amber-hued lights and over their beers.
Noir at the Bar is a semi-annual event hosted by Brunet and Mallow, and can trace its roots to novelist Peter Rozovsky’s Philadelphia flagship in 2008.
