Have a say in Wychwood Library renovations

The 100-year-old Wychwood Public Library at 1431 Bathurst St. will soon be undergoing a significant renovation and expansion, and the staff behind it is seeking your opinion of their plans.

Forest Hill residents are invited to visit the library between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 17 for an open house to view renderings of the current proposal and give feedback to library staff, architects behind the project, and Ward 21 Councillor Joe Mihevc.

The renovations are a “wonderful opportunity to celebrate the library’s 100-year anniversary by renovating it and expanding it for the next 100 years,” Mihevc says.

According to library staff, the renovations are to include new zoned spaces for adults, seniors, teens and children, along with additional seating, programming and community space.
