Honouring sacrfice

A children’s choir from nearby St. Anselm Catholic School sang “In Flanders’ Fields” and “A Pittance of Time” during a Nov. 8 dedication ceremony outside the front doors of Leaside Memorial Community Gardens. The arena, named in honour of 17 local men who died in WWII, was rededicated with the installation of a plaque bearing their names.
