John Wanless PS hosts fair

Community can have fun while raising funds for school

John Wanless PS will be holding its Fall Fair on Sat. Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3p.m.

Kids can take pony rides, run through an inflatable obstacle course and try their hand at the dunk tank. The day will also feature a barbecue and for those with a sweet tooth and a creative side there will be opportunities for them to decorate giant cookies they can take home.

Admission is free but there will be a nominal charge for selected activities.

“I expect the school yard to be extremely crowded,” said principal Michelle Dawson. “The kids are already excited.
“This week they are adding colour to the posters.”

Funds raised from the fair will go back into the school.
