CAUGHT IN THE ACT: Police are looking for this man, seen pepper spraying people who attempted to catch him during a break in attempt, in connection with two break ins near Bayview and Moore avenues in September.

Toronto Police are looking for a man they say is responsible for two break and enters in Bennington Heights four months ago.

Both incidents occurred near Bayview and Moore avenues in September, according to police.

In the first case, in early September, a man was seen running from a home. Police found a man matching the description nearby, but he fled on a bicycle when officers approached him.

In mid-September, a 54-year-old man told police he saw a man in his backyard trying to steal a bicycle. He said he and other neighbours chased and caught up with the suspect, but were pepper sprayed by him.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25–30, about 5-foot-11 and 150 lbs. He was wearing a black backpack, grey jeans, a grey t-shirt, an orange scarf and a bucket-style hat.
