Phones snatched at station

[attach]1565[/attach]Police are looking for help finding a man who robbed a 23-year-old woman at Dundas West subway station on February 14.

Police have released surveillance images of a man who reportedly stole the woman’s iPhone while both were aboard an eastbound TTC subway train at Dundas West station around 5:45 p.m. Police say the iPhone was grabbed from the woman’s hand.

Meanwhile, Dundas West subway station was the scene of a knifepoint mugging on April 17. Police say a 12-year-old boy was at the subway station around 1:30 p.m. when a man approached him from behind. According to police, the man grabbed the youth, walked him a short distance, and produced a knife. When the man demanded the youth’s iPhone, the boy complied and the man took off.

It is unknown whether these incidents are related. Anyone with information about either incident should call 416-808-1100.

Mugging near Royal York Road

A teenage boy was pushed to the ground and robbed during a mugging near Royal York and Coney Roads on April 16.

Police say the 14-year-old was in the area at around 9:45 p.m. when he was surrounded by about 15 males, all wearing dark clothing and disguises. One suspect reportedly pushed the boy to the ground. Others then searched his pockets and removed a cell phone. The group then fled the scene.
