Police have released a surveillance image of a man police believed is responsible for two sexual assaults that occurred 40 minutes apart on New Year’s Day.

The first incident occurred around 2:20 a.m., when a man reportedly followed a woman out of the St. Clair West subway station. A short distance away from the station, the woman was pushed to the ground and assaulted, police say.

Then around 3 a.m. a woman was attacked at the Summerhill subway station, just outside the Shaftesbury exit. Police believe the same man is responsible for the attacks.

Police have also released a composite sketch of a man in relation to a sex assault on a 15-year-old in the fall.
