Poll gives Bayview Avenue a rough ride
Bayview Avenue is the sixth-worst road in Ontario this year, according to results from the Canadian Automobile Association’s annual “10 Worst Roads” survey.
The list, compiled via an online poll taken by some 13,000, showed seven of the 10 being in Toronto. Dufferin Street was voted No. 1.
Bayview Avenue’s ranking was due to an overabundance of potholes, cracked roads and crumbling pavement, especially near Highway 401, south of York Mills and at Millwood Road, according to CAA South Central Ontario representative Faye Lyons.
