Psychotherapist, 51, charged with sexual assault, police report

ARRESTED: Phillip Kravetsky is charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

A 51-year-old psychotherapist has been arrested in an ongoing sexual assault investigation, Toronto police report.

Police allege a man sexually assaulted a child at an address near Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue West.

The man is employed in Toronto as a psychotherapist with a focus on family counselling and corporate mediation, police say.

The child’s age has not been reported. To protect the identity of the child, police said they would not reveal details of the alleged assault.

Phillip Kravetsky was arrested on March 13 by members of the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, a partnership of community and government agencies with specialized child abuse investigators from the Toronto Police Service.

He is charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

He is scheduled to appear in court on April 27.
