School remembers wartime

Students from St Patrick Catholic Secondary School have assembled an impressive display of wartime artefacts to help commemorate Remembrance Day. Led by teacher Mark Sherlock, the students gathered items both from the community as well as from museums and archives from across the province.

The tradition began about five years ago when a student, who had some wartime items, came up with the idea of a memorial display, says Sherlock. Pupils are involved in all aspects of the project including its design and item selection.
