Police have made a second arrest in connection with a high-end art theft.

In the early morning hours of April 7, police say two men smashed the front window of Odon Wagner Gallery at 196 Davenport Rd. and stole three paintings worth a combined total of $73,000.

Thursday morning police arrested 48-year-old Robert Regina of Toronto and charged him with break and enter and mischief over $5,000. Police had previously arrested Aaron Sherman, 43, for the same crime.

The three paintings — Greg Harris’ “Wild Fields”, Weidong Wang’s “Still Life With Flowers” and Zhao Kaolin’s “Seated Lady With Fan” — still have yet to be recovered.
