Three charged in 2015 midtown murder
Three men are facing charges in connection with the Yonge-Eglinton area murder of hip hop writer Zack Noureddine in late December.
Noureddine, 25, had been out with friends near Yonge Street and Lola Road on Dec. 30 when he was approached, beaten and robbed by three men. Noureddine was taken to hospital where his condition deteriorated and he died hours later.
Police arrested William Lordhu Cummins, 29, and Patrick Smith, 26, on April 13 and charged them each with robbery and second-degree murder.
On April 20, police arrested 31-year-old Matthew Moreira who was in custody on unrelated charges and charged him with robbery and second degree murder.
