Woman wanted for assault, car theft in Rosedale
Police in 53 Division are still looking for a 28-year-old woman wanted on numerous charges following a Jan. 12 attack with a crowbar and theft of a car.
Police say a woman broke into the parking garage of a building on Park Road in south Rosedale, then broke into vehicles and storage lockers.
When the building superintendent tried to intervene, police allege, she struck him in the head with a crowbar, then got into a stolen car and attempted to drive off, but hit a parked car.
The woman fled the scene on foot.
Amanda Gayowsky is wanted for break and enter, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and at least six other charges.
