Apr. 23: Asking smart questions about smart cities

On Apr. 23 from 7 to 8 p.m., Brenda McPhail, director of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association’s Privacy, Surveillance, and Technology Project, will talk about what it means to be a smart city.

McPhail will examine how data has been collected and used in other Smart City experiments, and what it means to be a citizen in a tech-enabled metropolis.

This free event will be held at the Toronto Reference Library at 789 Yonge St.
