Feb. 10: Celebrate the Lunar New Year in east end
You can join the Ralph Thornton Community Centre, the Queen/Saulter Library, the South Riverdale Child-Parent Centre, and other residents to celebrate the Lunar New Year on Feb. 10.
Usually the community marks the event with a dragon parade, storytelling and other celebrations. This year the same events will take place but online.
There will be a virtual dragon parade, stories, crafts, cooking, a lucky draw, and New Year greetings from local VIPs.
It runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. — with the kids stuff first.
