July 20–21: Moon Landing Festival at Aga Khan

The Aga Khan Museum hosts a two-day Moon Landing Festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of humans first setting foot on the moon.

Featured will be live music, a food fair, an artisan market, food vendors, family-friendly activities and other lunar-inspired fun.

Visitors can make music by “playing” the moon’s craters and enjoy evening stargazing with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Headliner Iskwē and opener Absolutely Free featuring Gurpreet Chana will get visitors grooving by the light of the moon.

The festival runs 12 to 10 p.m. on July 20 and 12 to 6 p.m. on July 21, rain or shine.

The Aga Khan Museum is at 77 Wynford Dr., near Eglinton Avenue East and the Don Valley Parkway. A free shuttle bus is available from downtown with five stops along the way.
