The City is holding a Community Consultation meeting on June 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Roehampton Hotel, Eglinton Room, located at 808 Mount Pleasant Rd.
The focus of the meeting will be on the proposed building heights limits included in the City staff recommended Yonge-Eglinton Secondary Plan within the Yonge-Eglinton area, as well as the possibility of growing employment opportunities around transit stations.
Community feedback will be sought with respect to lowering permitted building heights for new buildings in the neighborhood which are generally bounded by Broadway Ave. to the north, Soudan Ave. to the south, Duplex Ave. to the west and Mount Pleasant Rd. to the east.
Potential for increasing employment opportunities within the area will also be discussed at the consultation meeting.
