May 9: Getting started with cosplay at Northern district

Teens learn tips and tricks for creating costumes

The Northern District branch of the Toronto Library is offering a program on May 9 to help teens get started with cosplay.

This free presentation offers tips and tricks for choosing a character, researching your design, selecting materials and patterns, and building props.

It takes place from 5 to 6 p.m. at the library at 40 Orchard View Blvd.

Ages 13 to 21 can drop in, no registration required. Snacks provided.
