Author David Shoalts reveals the story of CBC and Rogers

Veteran sportswriter David Shoalts covers the story of how CBC lost Hockey Night in Canada and how Rogers’ $5.2-billion, 12-year deal with the NHL didn’t work out as planned, at the S. Walter Stewart Library on Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Shoalts, who has spent more than 30 years covering the NHL and the Toronto Maple Leafs, presents his new book Hockey Fight in Canada which details every play in this intersection of sports and business.
